I made my friend Marshall a queen-sized Lover's Knot quilt as a birthday present in November, 1997 (not his birthday, though; it was late). It's nifty.

In the fall of 1998, I made a large (48"x59") silver and black hanging and finally in August 2005 it was hung on my wall instead of being neatly folded in the closet. I've managed to get pictures which better display the amazing silver fabric (you wouldn't believe how hard it is to photograph). I don't know what the design is called; I saw a picture in a book and reverse engineered it into a quilt pattern.

After a bit of time working on something else, I made a queen-sized log cabin quilt in February, 1999. This is made in shades of blue, with a neat purple as the contrast color. It looks like water rippling and flowing, held in by the border.

In August, 1999, I made this twin-sized sofa quilt out of a bunch of floral designs and some solids I had lying around. Looks pretty neat, huh. I had some extra pieces, so a pillow got made, too. The pillow is the unfinished single fan.

On-hold projects as of Feb.1999: A queen-sized Mariner's Compass quilt, all in blues and starry patterns. The four corner stars are done, and half the center star, although it's not entirely working yet.

A group of us collaborated on two baby quilts: one for Scott and Bea's baby Jason (born July 1999), on the left, but here's one including Jason, and one for Marc and Laurel's baby Isaac (born January 2000), on the right.
