This extremely colorful baby quilt was made for Richard Joshua, born August 13, 2005. My unofficial name for it has been The Quilt of Many Colors, but it looks like a field of rainbow prisms. The backing is flannel, the binding is satin, and the size is 42"x53".

I made this 98x110" king-sized bed quilt as a wedding present for my little brother and his wife. They were married on November 20, 2005. The backing is very soft camel-colored fleece. The pattern is called a Lover's Knot, and it's a twisted log cabin, on point. In this picture, it's shown on a queen-sized bed (all I had available at the time). It fits a king much better.

This is a 15" square wall hanging, finished in December of 2005.

This is a 31"x24" wallhanging, using Gai Perry's landscape quilt scheme (squares on point) and my design. I think of this one as an abstract landscape; when I look at it, I see a path winding off into the distance, with sky above and swirly (water?) below. The main theme, of course, is purple. Finished late December, 2005.

I made this 99"x111" bedspread (large queen, will also fit king) as a commission, given the requirements of size, log cabin, and green, blue, and purple. It's very cheerful and vibrant, not all of which comes across in pictures. The backing is a green checkered flannel. I finished this early April, 2006.

Bright and colourful, this 44" square baby quilt is a present for Alessandro Niccolo (Alex), born June 20, 2006. The back is a purple flannel. It was finished in early June, 2006.

Just as colourful but different, I made another baby quilt just afterwards, also early June, 2006. It's 42" square, and was a gift for Douglas, born May 29, 2006. The back of this one is a blue flannel.
